Still the Mind
Research demonstrates that regular participation in mind/body activities may moderate or prevent the negative effects of stress.
Cultivate mind/body peace at weekly brown-bag lunch seminars on stress reduction. We begin with quiet, a reading and 10-15 minutes of meditation, followed by relaxed informal conversation over lunch, or discussion of stress reduction skills, reading or other topics, ending with a brief closing wrap-up.
Participants will:
- Learn simple methods for reducing everyday stress.
- Experiment and experience meditation and relaxation.
- Nourish the body and mind.
- Feel centered and perhaps more able to respond to the demands of life in healthy ways.
MINDFUL LUNCH HOUR

Except Nov. 25, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving

First time free. $15.00 per week or $150.00 for whole semester (13 weeks)

Finally, the time and space to learn and practice stress reduction and mindful eating. At weekly brown-bag Mindful Lunch seminars, cultivate mind/body peace and learn and practice basic meditation and relaxation skills. Increase your ability to connect with the present moment. Leave feeling more centered and perhaps more able to respond in healthy ways to the stresses of daily life.
