Pat Vroom, Ph.D.

Pat Vroom is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Princeton NJ. Her psychotherapy practice focuses on helping individuals enhance their own unique coping strengths in order to relieve anxiety, stress, depression, and pain.

She is trained in Jon Kabat-Zinn's Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Depression (MBCT), Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP), and Ericksonian self-hypnosis. She established the Mind-Body program at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's Integrative Medicine Service, was founding Director of Integral Medicine in a large community hospital in the Princeton area, and has been involved in both clinical and research programs with adult and pediatric patients. She has been teaching mindfulness to individuals and groups for over 10 years. Dr. Vroom is director of Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapy of Princeton (NY#015611-1, NJ #4423). She was a computer scientist for over 20 years.
